Compare crypto payment gateways and processors
Choosing a processor depends on fees, verification, custody, geography, and whether you need fiat offramps. These hub pages summarize CXPay against major alternatives using their public documentation.
What to compare before you choose
Start with where the money lands. A non-custodial processor such as CXPay pays each sale straight to your own wallet; custodial processors hold a balance for you and pay out on their schedule. Next, check whether you need fiat bank settlement, which CXPay does not offer.
Then compare the effective fee on your typical order size rather than the headline rate, the documents each provider asks for during onboarding, and the exact list of coins and networks your customers will actually use.
How CXPay positions itself
Non-custodial payout to your wallet, no merchant KYC/KYB in sign-up, crypto-only settlement, hosted checkout plus API, and published 1% / 0.5% CXCASH fees with a $0.30 minimum.
Checkout covers EVM chains, Tron (TRX and USDT-TRC20), Solana (SOL, USDC, USDT), Bitcoin on-chain and Lightning, and CXCASH—with the same merchant fee on those rails; Tron, Solana, and Lightning do not add a separate CXPay network line for payers beyond wallet costs.
Server integrations should create payment intents with Idempotency-Key headers, persist the returned intent ID on your order row, and only mark paid after payment.succeeded verifies on your webhook handler. Test keys let you exercise the full lifecycle without touching live balances. WooCommerce merchants request the official plugin through the contact form and configure API base URL plus webhook secrets before going live.
The merchant dashboard and GET /reports/payments help you filter by status and time range. Download GET /exports/payments.csv when finance needs a spreadsheet-friendly view. Pair exports with webhook-driven order updates so internal systems stay aligned with on-chain settlement. Because CXPay does not hold balances, your wallet history and CXPay reports together form the reconciliation trail.
Merchants who educate payers about exact amounts and quote expiry see fewer support tickets. Publish your accepted assets and networks on your store policy page and link to CXPay asset guides. When customers pay with ETH or BTC, remind them that network fees appear separately from the CXPay merchant fee. For audiences comfortable with Aztec, highlight CXCASH as a gas-free alternative through cxcash.app.

Fair use of competitor information
Competitor fees and policies change. Tables cite public pages checked October 2026. Confirm current terms on provider sites before switching.
We compare published list prices and documented onboarding requirements only. Negotiated enterprise rates, regional promotions, and account-specific terms are not reflected, so your real quote from another provider may differ from the figures shown here.
Next steps
If CXPay matches your wallet-native workflow, sign up and use test API keys. If you need fiat bank settlement, evaluate providers that explicitly offer it.
Run old and new processors side by side for a short period, route a small share of orders through CXPay first, and compare settlement records before switching fully.
Educate payers during migration
Tell returning customers before the checkout changes: which assets and networks you now accept, that the amount shown must be sent exactly, and that each quote has a short expiry. A short note on your payment policy page avoids most first-week support tickets.
